Reading: the novel I'm working on

update... that i think is needed.... 6/28/06

ok, I've been bad... i was going through my writings today, something clicked inside of my sick little mind... i've had a story concept that has been on the back burns and stuff and needs to get done!!! O_o so in light of that moment, I'm going to update this thing first off... and then give credit to those who need credit...

within the last time I've updated this thing, two deviants have helped me with the creative process of developing the main character AJ





he drew this concept a long while ago, and i can't thank him enough...

she drew this a while back too.... again i thank her... she just kicks ass

and as i update this thing... I am finally reworking chapter 1 and thinking about how I'm going to carry this story... there is no doubt that AJ will be the main character... but I'm thinking of reworking the entire story... well see what happens... but I will probably post something by the end of this weekend... hopefully...

ok people, i'm sorry, i just haven't been workin on it since I've been busy with work and school, but i did have a long talk with my friend ~septembermoon16 she has been the one to help me since day one with the characters and plot and just the entire thing in general, and i think that by the end of this week i will have two more things up:

a update re-written Chapter one with all the new corrections that everyone (which i greatly appreciate ) has shown me and to just make it better...

and a character bio/analysis for Audrey the second main/major character... I've come up with a interesting concept for her role in AJ's life, but I'm still lingering on it...

btw, a major thanks goes to he was kind enough to draw a character concept for AJ.. though i will be using this for a later reference when AJ is not in her current state of mind in the beginning of the novel...

ok I've actually posted some kind of a bio for the main character... just to give you a more indepth look at her, though i am wondering if there is more i can do for her... or if I've come up with too much useless crap... how knows... though i would greatly appreicate some kind of a comment...

I decided to start a journal that features the concepts and story ideas of the novel that's I've been working on for the last five years and as well, keep you all updated on what i am doing with the novel at this point

for starters, I've actually already written the novel... only the first draft though. I only have the prologue and the first chapters of it up though for you guys to view, but if you want to read more, I will definitely put up more of it if you want

after finishing that, I've had this novel on the shelf, reworking it continuously and trying to improve it (at one point it almost seemed like a soap opera.. not what i was trying to go for...) and there were some like short stories/concepts/whatever the hell you want to call them that i was trying to develop the story even more... here's a look at those... they sort of give you even more of a broader look of what i was trying to do

"Untitled" -- second attempt at trying to write my novel after the first draft

Crimson Failure -- very earlier concept of my recent new draft

The Warmth -- an essay i wrote for my english class that further develops the last concept

Within the next few days, i will be posting the first chapter of the second draft of the novel (if that makes sense )

onto other things: I've recently tried to draw a character concept of the main characters of the novel, but of course i can only draw stick figures... but hell, it's something...
